What is OnQ?
· OnQ is a social pragmatics group for children
ages 6-10 who have been diagnosed on the
Autism Spectrum.
· OnQ provides services and activities to develop
the social-emotional confidence and competence
of our students.
· OnQ utilizes the concrete presentation of
pragmatics goals and the connection of those
goals to specific, highly-interactive, semi structured
activities, including the novel use of
drama-based activities.
· Goals are addressed and targeted according to
the developmental needs of individual students.

About the Groups
Groups are comprised of 6 students and
3 staff members
The after-school program includes
eight 75-minutes sessions
The one-week vacation and summer
programs consists of five 3-hour
sessions
Groups are identified based on
students' developmental level to ensure
compatible goal selection.


Is Your Child Able To:
Attend to an ongoing activity for short periods of time with
prompting?
Participate in a group activity with shared assistance?
Follow simple and clear directions?
Understand basic language concepts (i.e., same, different,
or and not)?
Use words or communication aids to maintain brief two way
communication exchanges?
