• How is my donation helping the families of the North Shore Arc?
  
  More than 90 cents of each dollar donated goes directly to programs and services provided daily to people with disabilities and their families. The North Shore Arc provides residential, vocational, and family support programs to over 12,000 families on the North Shore and beyond. We can only continue to meet the ever changing needs of the people we serve with new and innovative programming with your support.
  
  
• Can I target my gift to a particular program or service?
  
  The North Shore Arc encourages people to contribute to our general operations fund because it allows greater flexibility and the ability to be more responsive to the people we serve. In some cases the donor chooses to specifically allocate their gift. Restricted gifts of this kinds are also important to our programs, and are designed according to the wishes of the donor.
  
  
• How can my business help support the North Shore Arc’s mission?
  
  There are many opportunities for businesses and corporations to help. These include: matching gift donations, sponsoring our different events, providing in-kind services, or becoming a Partner in Developmental Excellence. • Do you accept “in-kind” donations of items?
  
  This is decided upon a case by case basis. Although we appreciate offers of furniture or household goods, we are not always able to utilize these items. However, please call us, and if we are unable to accept them, we may be able to help you find another worthy organization that can. • I am interested in learning more about membership. What can I do?
  
  We would be happy to discuss the different levels of membership, and benefits of membership. Please contact someone in the Development Office for more information. (click here)
  
  
• Are there provisions I can make to continue my support for the North Shore Arc for years to come?
  
  We understand that many people want to be able to support the North Shore Arc both now, and in the future, the Development Office can help you explore different ways of doing this. Please contact us and we would be happy to sit down with you to explore your options. (click here)
  
  
• Currently I am not able to financially contribute to the NSArc, but I would still like to support its mission. What can I do?
  
  You can volunteer in our programs, join an event planning committee, attend an event, and more. The opportunities to give are endless, give us a call, we would be happy to customize an opportunity for you! (click here)
