RECREATION

The goal of our Recreation service is to give individuals the opportunity to participate in social and recreational activities for personal growth and development. This goal is met by implementing various programs and supports so that people can be successful in various recreational settings.

The recreation staff includes a Recreation Director, Recreation Specialist, and a number of relief staff whom each offer expertise in a specific recreational area. The recreation department also benefits from a number of volunteers who support the staff in various areas.

The recreation department offers an inclusive summer camp program, Life Skills Group, Bowling Leagues, Swim Programs, Art Groups, Aerobics Class, Sports Teams, Friendship Club Dances, Teen and Women Social Groups and other individualized supports.
